What is different about this approach to spiritual growth?

All of us have blind spots.  Hypocrisy is not just conscious play-acting.  To some extent, we all “wear a mask and play a part.”  By using tests as a tool to gain additional insight, we have the freedom to change behaviors we otherwise might not even recognize.

Why should I trust the test?

You should not trust the test absolutely.  Although we using a testing center that provides sound testing, the purpose is to gain insight and to experiment with the insight gained.

How does this work?

Regardless of the area being discussed (Communication, Personality Profile, etc.), the approach is to send you a feedback via email each week for six weeks.  You will receive the feedback slip from the test and a note making some suggestions. You will use the feedback slip insights to experiment with changes you may wish to make in attitudes or behavior.

You will write me one or more emails during the week to which I will respond once a week with your next feedback slip from the test

What do you mean by experiment?

Once I received a feedback slip that indicated that I did “mind-reading.”  My feelings were hurt because I knew better and did not believe it to be true.  However, the next week I caught myself on many occasions walking into a room and thinking someone was angry with me, for example. In other words, I was “reading his/her mind” when perhaps they were having a bad day for any number of reasons.  Once I caught myself (found my blind spot), I was free to change.

You are encouraged to experiment with each insight from the feedback slip. Is it true?  Do I have a blind spot in this area?  You may reject the insight, or you may find that you indeed have a blind spot.  Once aware, you are free to change.

Why should I write you one or more emails each week?

Writing an email to me makes you think about and put into words what you are experiencing.  While I cannot respond to each email individually, once a week I will read all your emails, respond, and at the same time send you the next feedback slip.

What if I have an emergency?

You should go to the emergency room at your local hospital if you do not have a local physician or counselor.  Rather than being unconcerned, we are realistic about what we can do and cannot do.  This is a spiritual growth program, not set up to manage an emergency. In fact, in all areas of our work, we remind our clients that the local hospital emergency room one place to go to receive professional help and/or referrals in an emergency.

What if I am not satisfied with the program?

We will refund your money.
