| Preface to Time Management Articles As a young pastor, I realized that my weakness in administrative skills limited my effectiveness. In my efforts to overcome this limitation, I discovered a book entitled How to Get More Done in Less Time by Joseph D. Cooper. The book changed my life by introducing me to a new vocabulary that communicated key concepts. The book is out of print, and my efforts to find a copy of the 1971 edition (Doubleday & Company, Inc., 1971) proved useless. Used booksellers often advertise the 1971 edition but in error send an earlier edition, which does not measure up. These articles contain many of the key concepts, contaminated no doubt by my adaptation to my own purposes over the years. If you can find a copy of the 1971 edition, I recommend that you read it for the concepts presented.
